An Element 8 together with an ETA Associate CET (CETa) or a Journeyman CET qualifies for a rollover to ETA's Journeyman RADAR (RAD)

Can I substitute Work Experience or Education for my certification exam?


A.

 

No.  Although your training and job experience in the field of electronics may be very impressive, the testing process is vital to the integrity and validity of the certification process itself.
 

Q.

Can I use my FCC GROL and Associate CET (CETa) Certification to rollover to an ETA WCM Wireless Certification?


A.

 

No.  After January 1, 2007 ETA is no longer accepting the FCC GROL, along with the Associate CET (CETa), as a qualified rollover to ETA's WCM Wireless Certification.

 

Q.

Can I use my FCC GROL and Associate CET (CETa) Certification to rollover to a USMSS Wireless Certification?


A.

 

No.  USMSS recognizes ETA's WCM Wireless Certification, but ETA cannot do a rollover to the USMSS Wireless Certification.

Q.

Will the Element 8 Rollover to the RADAR (RAD) Certification be available after January 1, 2007?


A.


Yes.  Only the Element 8 Rollover to RAD will be available after January 1, 2007.

Q.

Does ETA accept NABER or PCIA FCC Equivalent Certifications for the WCM Rollover program?


A.


No.  The NABER and PCIA FCC Equivalent Certifications are out of date and cannot be accepted for the WCM Rollover.
