Electronics Certification

“The National Coalition for Electronics Education has fostered unprecedented cooperation among Manufacturers, Industry Associations and Educational Institutes.  This cooperation is enabling the NCEE to define knowledge and skills needed by employees in the consumer electronics or appliance installation and repair fields.  To accomplish this task, NCEE identifies needs of the industry and develops an outline of the required areas of knowledge for each discipline plus the competencies for each area required by the student. 

 Once developed, the NCEE is making this information available to educational institutions responsible for creating training curriculum for prospective employees.  Educators can tailor courses to the specific needs of the industry and provide their students with the skills necessary for success.
